Looks interesting (especially considering the director). I wonder if it is a sequel to the anime in the same way the anime is a sequel to the manga. Hopefully, it will be licensed to English regions

Too bad we'll probably never get this, leaving the conclusion of the series up to reading a synopsis on a wiki page.
