As much as I hate to say it (although it would be cool to see), Attack on Titan is destined for Hollywood. Of all the big shōnen titles, it's right up there as the most adaptable in my opinion.

You can say that again. Its got the heart of Michael Bay IMO like H.O.T.D. The titans are basically giant zombies. And they could probably make Mikasa even more of a sex object then she already is physically or mentally for the stereotypical otaku. Calling dibs on Eren being Played by Shila xD.
Hate to sound like the Frozen when talking about AOT. But, LET IT GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Volume 11 - 1.85 million (Aug. 2013)
Volume 12 - 2.20 million (Dec. 2013)
Volume 13 - 2.75 million (Apr. 2014)
11 to 12 - .35 m increase
12 to 13 - .55 m increase, and there is no more new anime
3.0 million print run for Volume 14 looks pretty likely as the volumes are still sticking around in the top 100 manga last week. About 8k to 10k average sold.

Then it just comes around full circle. As previously posted:
- The show’s international success is certainly a happy development for Wit Studio, but the animation staff didn’t necessarily set out with that as its goal, and instead went with the choices that they, as people born and raised in Japan, felt would be interesting or entertaining. Wada does acknowledge that the team’s subconscious influences may have been at play, though. “Since we were kids, we’ve naturally consumed a lot of American entertainment, and I think part of the show’s global international acceptance comes from reflecting those sensibilities through a uniquely Japanese prism.”
