Tales series goes weirder and weirder. After that empty open world trying to imitate W-rpg in Zesty, now we have solo hero(ine). And here i thought one of Tales' strongest aspects is its characters relationship (skits are my favorite part).

By solo heroine, they mean the main protagonist is female. Xillia had a female protagonist, but she had a male counterpart. The announcement said that more characters (both female and male) will be announced. You don't have to worry about her being alone. |

I think a solo MC would be a nice change of pace, actually, not exactly solo but she starts alone and meets people along the way for a certain amount of time and moves on either alone or with some of them joining in.
Like how Trails in the Sky had it so you'd go from one place to another and you'd have certain characters that would team up with you for the duration of the chapter, there were still 2 MCs in that but yeah. |

There are some weird speculations that Ryukishi07 will be the (solo) writer of the script, because of his suspicious announcement during ACen2015, talking about his next secret project (found 2 discussions inside different threads on Futaba, a blog entry on an english fan-site and some comments about it on 4chan).

And I agree it looks darker, looking forward to future reveals. ufotable doing the anime scenes again is awesome.

PS3 is still alive!!
Tale games.. Pesona games.. no rush to upgrade to the current gen yet.. have yet to play the previous tales games available on the ps3 though.. so .. will be pretty busy.. |

Wow, that was rude. For me Japan has a better track record of producing likable female protagonists than US productions that I have seen, so I'm excited. |

Makes sense for a PS3 version given how its version of games move more than the PS4 version(that might be changing by time the game comes out). Our lord ufotbale is returning as expected. I wont take info on the story seriously until I beat it. lol

Did someone mean to say either "Sexism" or "discrimination" as there is usually an innate social issue regardless of ones own "personal stance" when such a blatant example rises in a public forum. |
