I wonder how long the speaker-constructed Torii Gate is going to last before complaints of erratic noise force city officials to tear it down?

I wouldn't be surprised if they tuned the white-noise to cancel our road noise, so people can't hear traffic going by. That said nice to see something like this, my city made a giant ring that does nothing except look dumb. lol

Given that most speakers aren't designed to be weather resistant, I wonder what condition this will be in after a few seasons.

There's a panoramio photo of it. I'm not sure how long it had been there at that point, but a photo in the same location a year after had a different sculpture. |
