I'm sorry to hear this. Tragic accidents like this shouldn't happen to people yet they continue. May he rest in peace and my condolences to his family and friends.

I especially hate it when people lose their lives when in the job of entertaining people. While it was a mere inspection, to lose one's future in this manner is an all around tragedy.

When tragedies like this happen, I find it justified to scrap the show altogether or at least not have the stunts be as high up.

Agreed. It's so unfair and messed up. This is just too heartbreaking. No doubt this guy had lots of fans who loved his performances.

My condolences to his family, friends, and fans. I do hope they stringently check and re-evaluate the safety of the show and (and the safety precautions taken!).

Unfortunately, these kind of tragedies come with the territory.
But that was the risk he was willing to take. Now of course he wouldn't plan for this to happen and would take safety precautions but well accidents happen and sadly this one was tragic. The show must go on. He risked his life for the show and they should honor that.
Work even harder to ensure the safety of the crew.
