Yata is not in Scepter 4 (Blue Clan), he's a member of HOMRA (Red Clan)
Is there an explanation for his eyepatch? I'm not familiar with any of the side-material, but I don't recall him wearing one in the series. Or is it just to look coo?

It was just his promo art from the movie. Just to appeal. Nothing actually canon, if im not mistaken he also comes with a regular face too
