Another reminder that I'm behind on this series, probably won't read the book until the year is out as things stand.
It's unusual to use 8-bit games as a promotional medium, but the franchise itself is popular enough that it can try gimmicks to entice new readers and potential fans.

I like these little clips promoting the Wazamonogatari and the 8-bit style comes off really neat as well. Also the appearance of the 'Okitegami Kyōko no Bibōroku' light novel character during Karen's stroll was cool.
