His hair still triggers me due to tradition being broken much like with Yuya's design. Also, Buster Blader's descendant is the ace monster. |

I was fine with the main characters design, I was glad it was going back to an older protagonist, and I was fine with the VR angle, but not a fan of the surfboarding angle.

Which New Yorker will voice the Yu-Gi-Oh character? It's open to any guess; any at all. Besides, most of the YGO dubs are done in NYC, so why not one more? |

Reminds me of Rockman.exe and Ryuusei no Rockman, and thats a good thing. Early Zexal was like that too and it was my favorite series.

The more I'm hearing about Yusaku's personality, the more I'm loving him. I like how mature he sounds, and having a hacker protagonist sounds really cool.
I'm getting those vibes too! I actually think this series will be even more like Ryuusei no Rockman, since Yusaku's personality sounds closer to Subaru's than Yuma's was. Now all we need is a mischievous spirit partner a la Warrock. (Maybe that's what that "mysterious creature" is?) |

My thoughts exactly, friend. I like his Playmaker design far more than his school life one, perhaps because his outlandish hairstyle works better with a different color scheme or because that design is embracing the VR Duelist shtick with open arms. Either way, hope he spends most of his time in VR. For my eyes' sake.
