When I checked Cinplex's site for the Toronto screening, all the showings are already sold out. Looks like it'll be pretty successful over here too.

It's also the biggest late night anime movie opening EVER. Bigger than the likes of Madoka, Girls by Panzer, K-ON and even Love Live. This is most definitely Aniplex's biggest cash cow and it's pretty cool to see it dominate. I'm quite excited to see the movie when it hits the west.

Gonna be a cool weekend for us... SAO on Thurs, and our local indy theatre opens Red Turtle on Friday!
