So will Hayate be getting a new anime series any time soon or no?
I know how much I enjoyed this series from the beginning and would like to know what is next now. |

I forgot Hayate ended this year. I fell behind after I stopped collecting the manga and should make an effort to continue on.
It then occurred to me that it'll take about 11 years before Viz finishes Hayate at its current publishing schedule, and that's assuming they don't cancel it. 
I wouldn't count on it. |

After 10 long years Hayate ended like that. I think that Hata-sensei showed with irony his perception of his own stellar manga at the end: Something without love, and doing the things for Obligation, even forcing ways. Yeah, it patched most of the foreshadowings on the plot, but that's it. There was no love.
It really was a shame. I'm not going to read his new work. |

Everything after season 2 did awful in sales, so no, I wouldn't expect anything. If Can't Take My Eyes Off You didn't kill it then Cuties sure did. |
