Hey,
I'm currently almost done with the Kare Kano anime and am totally digging it. I love it so much! However I was somewhat disappointed when I heard it leaves off at the culture fest and there's still more expected to come. Then I heard it continued in the manga. So where the anime ends, what manga volume picks up? I would appriciate this info soon, because I'm going to the bookstore in about 4-7 days. Thanks! |

The anime ends somewhere in the eighth volume if I'm not mistaken. Not to mention that it's handled much better. The anime looks like GAINAX stopped trying halfway through.

The anime was a horrible tease in compairison to the manga. You will want to read all 21 volumes. It is one of the best stories I had read in a long time. Espically if you figure it is based in real time, no magical creatures or anything like that.
