Brass instruments are winds so saying winds and brass instruments is like saying flowers and roses. Also the band performing includes percussion and string bass. Orchestral (to me as a band geek) means with an orchestra (an ensemble of mostly strings but also includes the other instrument types) performing. That being said wind ensembles are called brass bands in Japan for some reason (brass bands do exist as only brass and percussion ensembles). Sorry for being a little off topic but the band geek in me gets irked by these things  .
The group playing the concert is a professional wind ensemble (they are very good but not as well known as the big two: Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra and the Dallas WInd Symphony) so I think it is cool that they are doing this. I hope to be able to see this somehow and maybe if I rejoin a band we can get a hold of some scores and play something they do.
