Its a shame that we will only be able to watch this movie next year ;/ I'm already on the edge to see more of this series ;/

I'm a little confused by all the titles getting flung around. Do the novels all have unique names based on arcs? Is this a sequel? A spinoff? An AU?

The novels do all have different names, but they all follow a very similar pattern i.e. "青春ブタ野郎は...の夢を見ない" or "Rascal Does Not Dream of ..." where the ellipses are an allusion to the girl who's the focus of the book, e.g. "Siscon Idol" for Nodaka. The movie has the title of the 6th book, but I believe it covers the 6th and 7th books.
