Hello!
ANN's been working fine all day, but over the past hour or so I noticed that any time I try looking at the main page, I'm left looking at this https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/715630124397232188/1371920958918623243/image.png?ex=6824e475&is=682392f5&hm=6d38126ed85c000ee27a3b93ee75769b2100da97aa243b6c782d3938c7d71238& I've cleared my cache and refreshed my browser, but that hasn't worked, and I'm reluctant to make FireFox forget ANN altogether. The main page is the only thing affected; I can get to searches and everything else just fine. Has anyone else had this problem/is anyone else having this problem? |

Yeah, buddy you're not alone. ANN was working fine for me this early morning, and I just got back from my task today and I just logged on and ANN's front page is not working for me on Microsoft Edge. I went to Google Chrome if it's the same problem, and yep Chrome is showing the same problem as Edge and whatever browser(s) you're using. So as I said: You're not alone!!! |

Based on my testing 2 seconds ago, it's by design. With my adblock enabled = No Main page load. With my adblock disabled = Main Page loads fine. Someone updated something to detect/restrict adblockers. They likely won't tell you what, but they sure will be proud to let you know why (they need the ad revenue). |

I see... I thought it might have been my browser messing-up. Thank you very much for checking! Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Would it be worth it to make FireFox forget ANN, or not? |

After seeing your post, I briefly turned off my ublock origin plug-in to test that, and you're right!!! This seem to be maybe by design or a bug (assuming ANN is testing out their layout but accidentally effecting those with ad block plug-in). Whatever it is, I hope ANN fix this ASAP. Even with the ad-block plug-in turned off, it caused the whole webpage to slow down for me. The ad-block plug in whether it's Ublock Origin, ad-blocker plus, etc... helped solved the website slow-downs for me. I better hope you fixed this ANN if you're reading this. |

It's not a browser related issue so any sort of cache clearing or data removal from your browser of choice won't resolve the problem. |

And I got good news!!!
ANN main page is functioning like normal on Google Chrome once again (with the ad-block plug-in turned on) Meanwhile, the problem is still there if you're using Microsoft Edge with the ad-block plug-in turned on. TLDR: Google Chrome=function like normal Microsoft Edge=main homepage is still not showing anything with ad-blocker plug-in turned on. EDIT: UPDATE AS OF 10:17 PM LOCAL TIME: I just logged back on Edge browser and it looks like everything is back to normal, and yes, the ad-blocker plug in is turned on and the main homepage load normally like before. It looks like everything is OK on my side. Has anybody else's browsers (ie: Opera, Safari, Firefox, etc...) are able to access ANN like normal? If there's no more problem, I would say this is a case closed. |

I'm on Firefox for Android, didn't work with uBlock on, worked with uBlock off, working but very slow with uBlock back on. Also, having autoplaying video ads really doesn't make me want to visit this site with ad block off.

Did you test Firefox on your PC/laptop (or mac) to see if it's showing the same problem there? Did you test other browsers beside Firefox? If Firefox is still showing the problem, then I think we need to leave this thread open for now. Anybody with Safari, Opera, or other browsers still showing any problem? |

We would *never* make the HP unreadable on purpose for adblockers. But we don't plan to put any effort into fixing the layout if an adblocker messes it up, which is what appears to have happened here.

Hi Dan, ummm...We have a new problem!!! When I just go to the ANN homepage, I'm getting (not sure if other people are getting this too) a "oops sever error 500", and nothing on the homepage is loading at all. I even turned off my Ublock origin/ad-blocker plug-in off to see if it fix the problem and no, the error and the main homepage is still not loading. Is this anything related to the previous problem or something to the last time? |

Yeah the homepage is giving me the 'Server error 500' message, but I can still click on the drop down menu and go to one of the articles posted. This is via Microsoft Edge on my end, haven't tried it on Firefox yet.
