Um this is pretty old news, we knew this a long time ago. Anyone who has been following up on his works knew this months ago. The game only cam out for pre-order a couple days ago is all, with PV posted.

Not to say that I'm not excited.

The news about it getting a VN was released with the second volume of the manga I'm pretty sure.

If anyone is wondering Ryukishi did say some stuff on his blog a while back on how the VN is going to be formatted.

6/7 mini stories with the whole game being about the size of one Umineko ep. If anyone has wondered how much an ep of Umineko is it's over 450 pages text wise give or take.

So each story is going to be two/three chapters of the over all story. (Seeing as what Umineko had any where from 12-16 over all chapters per ep)
