Is it me or is this the 20th boys love news in a month? Don't dislike boys love but is it becoming popular these days in Japan or is it just ANN trying to make it look popular?

Not sure what to expect from condensing a longer story into a single film, but I'm always interested in new BL adaptations. It's also a Kou Yoneda work so PREPARE TO CRY.

It's already plenty popular, it's just that we're finally getting more anime adaptions, and good one's at that, rather than just a couple a year like usual. Seems like the success of some recent series is showing that it's a worthy market to invest in.

It was only a few years the BL is getting socially accepted and many studios consider adapting them. If you are not the demographics, you could always enjoy 'normal' series or moe waifu series they pumped out every season.

If you don't dislike it then why complain about news articles on it?
