I wonder how long it take to produce an anime.

This looks good! Looks like a Gloster Gladiator just behind the girl. Perhaps a Bf 109 in the front of the formation in the sky, can't tell what the other 2 are although the second one seems to have a radial engine... Third one's a complete mystery.

Hope the airing season is announced soon.

Well, if one counts script-writing as part of producing, then it could be multi-year on/off project seeing as how Nagatsuki also keeps busy writing "Re:Zero".

Depends on when you start counting and the studio but generally studio production is minimum 6 months in advance.

Considering the Coronavirus situation going on there, I won't be sure whether it'll air this summer or fall.

Usually from the time a project was first announced, it'll take around a year for it to get made.

Dunno. I feel cold for original announcements nowadays no matter how good the staff behind it is. I wonder why.
