The game already looked fantastic on the PS4. Square Enix is just outdoing themselves now.
Now if only I can find a PS5...

Remake Part 2 will look even better if it's built from the ground up for PS5, presumably on Unreal Engine 5.

I was hoping to see it on Squares own engine. They don't seem to be making many games with that.

I held off getting it for a year in part because it looked so good on PS4 that it seemed like something they planned to release for PS5. I finally bought it when it was half-price and it was pretty obvious I wouldn't be able to get a PS5. I'm glad there is at least a free upgrade, especially since it turns out I bought it right before it went on PS+
