My greatest hope for S3 is that it will start off by retconning part of the final episode of S2 because they really didn't do a good job on the memory-reading scene.
Probably not going to happen, though. And because of where S3 will apparently end, there's ample opportunity to mess the ending up here too. Oh well, as a LN reader, of course I'll still watch it anyway.

Do you know which book depicts the memory reading scene in the LN? I wanna read it to see how much they changed it in the anime.

Part 2 volume 2, or the 5th book in the epilogue.

As a light novel reader and manga reader, really haven't had an issue with the anime adaptation. Really enjoy it. Also, consider it a gift from the gods that we got an actual anime. Considering the dearth of merchandise, and not even any figurines.
