Nice timing, just finished reading vol 12, then refresh my page and see the announcement. The author said in an afterword that it was coming to an end soon, probably next year so the anime was bound to be announced soon.

I was wondering if this series would ever get an anime. I've read about 10 or so of the light novels although to be honest I was starting to lose interest in the series.
I'm a bit of a hypocrite for saying this because I've defended other properties that have had this criticism levelled at them but I started to feel this series was too mean-spirited.
I think the mean-spiritedness worked as a joke for me early on and after a while just started to feel too repetitive.
Of course other people's mileage may vary.

I read for this for a while but got bored and quit. I doubt it'll do well here, but MC kills a dude with a slavery cheat, so there's that. Although he kills all of the slaves too.

Looks like it centers on the MC's relationship with his female classmate as much as it does on him being OP?

There is no romance between them, the heroine Tomochika and Mokomoko her funny looking ghost ancestor ( the whole party in most of the novel ) are tsukkomi characters, especially Tomochika's role is to be the closest thing to "common sense" in their whole world. Long story short the novel is a parody comedy of all different kind of isekai in the most mayhem world you could think of where nearly all the opponent are op enough to be the last boss or protagonist in most other isekai. Now think of One Punch Man's routine I.E introducing a new enemy, showcasing its immense strength by putting it against another legend and make it encounter something it should never have encountered, with a much more unbeatable protagonist.

I had been wondering about this series. Since it mostly makes fun of the usual isekai tropes, its story development has always been kinda iffy. Looks like it'll actually get animated after all.

I don't have big enthusiasm, but I'm interested in it, I found the manga pretty fun and I look forward to the discussions of the anime episodes and the reactions. It's no One Punch Man but it can be funny addition to the weekly watch-list when it airs.
