Oo, exciting! I like Shiki's art, and I like Casshern! I hope this one gets licensed in the US, because I'm quite excited to see his take on the action sequences.

Not much, I don't think. Apart from the different artstyle, this will pretty much be a retelling of the 70's anime series.
I don't think it will be different tonally wise, too, as Casshern is one of those anime franchises that's noticeably depressingly bleak in tone compared to other Tatsunoko anime, if you put all the shows(and live action movie) in perspective. I can't think of any other anime franchise that likes to be so gloomy in all of its iterations.
Despite it crossing over with other Tatsunoko shows, including Capcom, it's a franchise that's nearly devoid of any humor in it which is quite interesting.
