If we're still counting it as a Kirara adaptation (Comic Fuz is basically a Kirara sub-brand anyways), then by my count this will be only the second Kirara adaptation to hit the elusive four seasons mark, behind Hidamari Sketch. A huge milestone, well earned. I'll be looking forward to it.

Nice the announcement came much sooner this time so maybe we won't have to wait 3 years like the previous ones.

On one hand: Yay, more Laid-Back Camp!!! Woohoo!!!

On the other hand: Ugh, they might bring 8-bit back and use more ugly photorealistic backgrounds with that weird filter.

Neither the general background art and photography/composite is handled by 8-bit, so no reason to pin that on them.

Yeah I don't know how to feel about that. Loved S1/S2, but no denying S3 was a major step down and they seem to be doubling down on that.

Because they must. The OG team made the timeskip anime original movie with the girls as adults to basically end their involvement with the franchise. To give it a conclusion since the manga is still going but they didn't want to adapt any more. So it was either new staff or no more Yuru Camp

Is the manga far along enough in Japan to fill out a fourth season? Yen Press has been rather close to caught up with the tankobons for awhile now, and considering where Season 3 ended, I'm a little worried about filler for this new one.

Not interested. I love the first two seasons, but season 3 looked like shit.

The different look of s3 took a little getting used to, but I didn't mind it after a couple of episodes. This is one of my favorite low-key series, so I'll happily be back for more.

While I'll definitely watch S4 and I'm aware many folks understandably had issues with the look of season 3, I had greater concerns with the writing. S1 and 2 I feel had a much better grasp on the characters and the story flow felt smoother, particularly in regards to the edutainment segments. They were always well integrated into the story in S1&2 where as they felt much more forced in S3. Hopefully things will improve all-round if the same S3 folks are doing S4.

I fully agree. S1 and S2 had very strong character arcs for Rin and Nadeshiko, though admittedly less so for the other characters. S3 tried to capture the mood and the scenery and food porn but, while we can argue the extent to which it succeeded, without character-focused stories at the core none of it would have worked for me anyway.

I am interested in how the dynamics of the group will change with the introduction of the two new girls, that might be enough to get me to tune in.

Genuine question, was season 3 an actually faithful adaptation of the source material? I'd totally believe it if someone told me they ran out of material after S2 and simply keep it going by promoting random hiking trails in and around Yamanashi.

Kinda lost interest in the series by now,

Watched all seasons so far, Se1 was great,
Se2 dragged things a bit but was nice to see again after 3+ years of a break,
Movie was good,

Se3 however was meh, same things as older series, point was lost by now and not feeling too wowish, and most FS was removed/toned down so I feel like I've got no reason to be around anymore for another round.
