I'm all for artists unionizing. I hope Kakao refusing to recognize them comes back to bite them.

Oh, because they're freelancers so they can't bargain as a group like workers can?

Maybe that's right, but if they receive direct orders + have a monthly salary (and other things to check) then they're workers.

Not sure about the law in Korea for this...
