Very cool! I've had it on my wish list for years but didn't figure we'd ever get it after Gutsoon's closure. I'll be on the lookout for these.

It seems to have gained quite the following with gymbros (many who are more hardcore about manga than you might expect) and other people who just enjoy the craziness, so I wouldn’t be so sure.

That's now the third ex-Raijin Comics title to get rescued in a single year, following Kodansha USA picking up Keiji & Kana picking up City Hunter. Guess we can now safely say that Gutsoon was 20 years too soon with Raijin.

Geo: And 40 years for Baki. Hope it's not another Toren-type crash to go with it.

Was the last time before or after its surge of Netflix popularity? Honest question, because that audience could easily put this release over the top.

Best: If Jojo and One Piece have enough trouble guaranteeing getting to the end...

JoJo & One Piece are doing just fine, so this comparison makes no sense (&, in fact, is essentially arguing that Baki should do just fine, as well). Hell, One Piece is caught up to Japan, both for the manga & anime, while JoJo is on the verge of seeing the Steel Ball Run manga getting started, coincidentally(?) coming out alongside the new anime adaptation, at some point, which will no doubt help promote the manga's release.

If anything, the OG Baki manga ideally should have come out back when the Baki & Baki Hanma anime were each brand new on Netflix.
