I was wondering how many movies there were going to be.
I do like the series overall, but it's hard to maintain excitement for what amounts to a season 2 broken up by years between parts.

That does seem like a waste of a great cliffhanger. Couldn't they do a movie of the girls doing a prison break and them becoming rouge agent fugitives or something? The set up is right there!

I would suspect, given how this film apparently ends, there's definitely something that'll cause them to be fugitives, like the Duke breaking their deal and deciding to have them punished and/or/killed with Charlotte as well and exposing them as double agents making everyone turn on them, including their allies. Or someone on the team or within the commonwealth or kingdom is killed, the team is framed and exposed, and things get worse from there. There's a couple paths this can go. Especially if the team is in this situation.
After all, they've basically only got a finite window of use before their cover is blown or the Duke decides to up and deal with them himself after he stops seeing them as useful. Somethings gotta give and I certainly don't see the team making it out of the film series unscathed, if alive, by the end.
