This manga does keep getting better, it's a nice little romance story. It's much better than the title would ever lead you to believe.

I was pleasantly surprised with the first volume. Enough that I'd love to see the novels get picked up. I agree, there are a couple small leaps in the story that may or may not be the result of it being an adaptation but the main couple are not only believable but so freaking adorable, I can look past it. Looking forward to the next volume and now super excited for the upcoming anime adaptation.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about this series, so I'm probably going to be checking out the anime adaption!

It gets a lot better; Umi becomes one of the better female leads in the genre, and Maki has progression, too.
