Grateful to have an announcement sooner rather than later! I wonder how many seasons we will eventually get?

Early confirmation is good. Hopefully it'll be sometime next year.

Please give this season time to cook, on a production level this latest season really suffered compared to the first

Works for me. They had three cours off between S1 and S2; I'm fine with them moving to more of an MHA schedule -- two cours on, four off. Compared to Frieren, which is currently in a seven-cour break between its first two seasons, it's still pretty brisk.

Hell, fans of Vinland Saga had to wait twelve cours for S2 -- three full years. The Ancient Magus' Bride? Twenty cours, or five years. One year is fine.

And if S3 debuts in summer 2026, Nippon TV can air Frieren in the Friday Anime Night block for the first half of the year, and TAD for the second half!

Wonderful news! It's been a great adaptation so far, much like the manga.

I hope Vinland Saga fans get their S3 sometime. As a manga reader, I love the third story arc.

Only four volumes have been adapted so far. Lots of material left to do.

I would be fine for a late 2027 or early 2028 release, tbh.

Completely expected, since the series is still plenty popular. Since no time frame was mentioned, it's probably at least a year away, so I'd bet on a Summer or Fall 2026 debut.

I'm not completely surprised with how popular the anime/LN is, but it's still great to have confirmation that we'll have more of Maomao and Jinshi in animated form to look forward to!
