It's my one thing I worry about with P5X and Wizardry, but at least both of those games aren't run by Square Enix or Bandai! Laughing

Given what I've been hearing, Ever Crisis might be running out of steam soon too, so I'd be a little bit cautious (in general, about spending ANYTHING on an SE live service) that the game might not have much life left in it either.

Brave Exvius lasted long enough. Started before Opera Omnia, and ended after it too. Based on Wiki Japan had it for about 10 years which is more than enough.

In case of P5X - that gave me a good laughter, because Sega ain't even really better mobile publisher than Bandai, especially for rugpulling the customers faster than somebody even remember that their mobile games even released - like what happened with Sakura Revolution and 404 Game Re:set, and I honestly would not be surprised if P5X not gonna survive this year either because the game is already went radio silence pretty quickly after trying to scam the global audience and got checked for that.

Which can be super ironic, because they are now could be literally squashed by the competition on release time with the exact same game, TWICE.

Hoshi no Dragon Quest is also 10+ year old game, so they are both pretty much survived veterans on the market that lived since the early times.

So the Japan side finally ended too.

Brave Exvius had an interesting story. I hope it can live on on some other media instead of just being forgotten with time.

I still miss FFBE. I didn't realize the Japanese version continued this longer. I wonder what we missed of the story.

I wish Squeenix would release it as a regular console game.

In one of their earlier livestreams for P5X, one of the main Atlus people behind the game outright tossed Sega under the bus and changed one of the policies, so they've at least shown they're aware of the reputation. I'm very aware myself, as PSO has generally NOT been treated well by Sega over the years, particularly in North America. I agree - if P5X lasts to this time next year it will be a miracle, but it should also be pointed out that it does (shockingly) seem right now that the Atlus folks on the project are at least putting an effort in.

Feels like it's to be expected with how cutthroat the market is.
