Correction: mato is a different person from the one who drew for Pokemon Adventures. In Japanese, the former writes their name in lowercased Latin characters, and the latter uses the kanji 真斗. (As far as I know, 真斗-Mato doesn't draw manga anymore and only does illustration work.)
