The yuri definitely ruined this for me. I was expecting a funny comedy about a girl trying to be "bad" in funny situations but it was a fake out. She did that for like a little bit in the first episode then just stupid stuff not related to the title happens.

I haven't watched any of this, but I'm also not watching the five titles listed as maybe better alternatives, except for City, which I can only take in half episode doses at a time (and I'm enjoying it that way, while I couldn't bear sitting through an entire episode after grinding the first one). Since I'd failed to even sample this mainly due to time constraints, this review was useful in confirming that this was a correct skip. Good job! And for those who are happily on board with it, have fun.

I do like how each of the girls is a better bad girl in one particular way than Yuu is trying to be altogether. Also, Ruu's my favorite of the four as I don't buy her coping method for a second.
Yup, she has 50,000 followers but no one knows her at school?
I'm curious as to where the connection fails. The narrator said that as she fights her fans, uh her "haters" more, the more fans she gets... Is her whole streamer career based on people hate watching?
What a detail; When Yuu's hiding behind Ruu's legs, her fingers absolutely press into Ruu's thighs with zero effort. But in the following episode, from Ruu's pov, her legs are... not... like that....
Oh. Oh no.

The yuri is the main reason I wanted to watch it because it's real yuri and not bait for once which is awesome. And I was not disappointed.

I watched the first episode and got a few chuckles out of it but didn't really come out of it wanting to watch more of it. Kind of was just reminding me of way too many better shows I could be watching instead and the premise feels like it's way underutilized.

This show is definitely about people being little idiots, I tend to really enjoy comedies about that so this has been perfect to me. Something about extreme earnestness mixed with clumsiness never gets old to me.

Reading this week's review, I wonder if this show just makes the point that some shows - even good, enjoyable shows - don't stand up to weekly reviews.
It's a fun little comedy with a heavy dash of yuri. It's an entertaining way to spend 22 minutes each week, but it isn't really any more than that. There aren't really any layers or themes or subtexts. I'm not sure there's going to be much to say about it week by week other than "this joke landed" or "that scene wasn't so great". It feels like an end-of-season wrap up review may have been a better use of time.

Yeah, I can see that. It might honestly be my favorite show this season, but there's not a whole lot to say about it.

Honestly, I wish the show would either commit to the 'Bad Girl' bit, or drop it completely. Pretending it has any relevance to the story when it doesn't is more annoying than anything.

It would be funny it Atori was straight up not a lesbian and the chances of all the people who want her were for nothing. Instead we get an unbelievable amount of people who are lesbians and even her own sister for her which is sick and stupid. The "Bad Girl" premise doesn't even exist anymore.

I thought the funniest part about Yuu's text was not just how long it was, or the sped up way it was read, but that as long as it was it was a nearly instant reply.
And I'm trying to figure out how Yuu and Atori got left behind. I presume the clock we're shown is just 5-10 minutes slow, that's perfectly reasonable. And I can see Yuu's absence getting missed on a bus with no one she knows, but no one noticing Atori wasn't there is a completely different story. I get that there was a set time to be back, but this is still a school trip and I find it hard to believe they would leave students behind who were a couple minutes late.

Enjoyed this show but yeah, if you took the same cast and balanced it to be 40/60 rom-com instead of 10/90, it could have been one of the best this season.
