Not that I expected it to do amazing but Japan continues to not really care about Sonic it seems which I can't blame them since the games seem tailored more for western audiences these days.. Silent Hill f did surprisingly well and above 2 Remake. I imagine the Japanese setting and Ryukishi07 helped revive interest in that and also being an original game and not a remake.

apparently Japan never really cared that much for Silent Hill,even during the Team Silent days when it was at it's peak.
Silent Hill 2 Remake getting a Japanese dub(a first for the franchise) and now the setting of Silent Hill f,with a celebrated writer handling it's story to boot,is probably Konami's way to try to increase it's fandom in Japan.
