It's pretty much cancelled after the plagiarism debacle.

I want to find out who’s going to dub the remake once it hits to the US.

I'm glad they stuck with original designs, I was afraid they gonna try to "modernize" them to today's standards Very Happy

Hopefully we get even more remakes.

Much, much more.

Btw, please don't take this post as sarcasm, because it isn't.

Quite a high bar to clear, the original still holds up fine even today. Though now, as the manga is complete this time around, they could do a faithful adaptation even of the latter part..

I’m curious how the second half of the manga will be adapted. The anime original season doubled down hard on the mecha combat, hence Rayearth getting the Super Robot Wars entry.

Best option would be a mix of both to be honest. Keep some of the anime original stuff but keep some of the manga original stuff for the second half as well.

Neither are perfect but both have really good ideas.

I truly like the OG anime, but I also think the second season dipped in quality a bit. This new one can probably fix that.

The original '90s anime and the OVA weren't dubbed into English? Are the original VAs still active? Though, if I'm not wrong, remakes like the new Ranma ½ anime have a completely new cast. I wonder if in Japanese the original seiyu for Hikaru, Umi and Fuu will come back, while the new Ranma anime managed to bring back most of the original cast, some remakes like Yaiba and Hell Teacher Nuber only brought back few of the original seiyuu. I do remember that Hekiru Shiina (Hikaru), Konami Yoshida (Umi) and Hiroko Kasahara (Fuu) reprised their roles in a Super Robot Wars game that came not too long ago.
Speaking as someone who grew up with Rayearth's Neutral Spanish dub, I don't have a lot of hope that the original cast will reprise their roles, because Rayearth was dubbed in Los Ángeles and ever since the 2000s nothing important has been dubbed there, though the original Neutral Spanish voices for Hikaru, Umi and Fuu reunited for an interview during the pandemic and they sounded fine
Sidenote, don't know if some fans will get mad if they switch to using the original Japanese names, because Hikaru, Fuu and Umi were known as Lucy, Anaís and Marina respectively in the Neutral Spanish dub.
