Dang... no Kamiina Botan. Was really hoping that one for James given multiple obscure foreign films and rock bands mentioned throughout. They managed to get the Swedish film Smultronstallet in the first episode, but no-go on Annie Hall apparently.

In any case, should be a fun and beautifully animated romp given the staff behind it!

This is the list of animes I was hoping would get reviews (roughly in order of preference):

Re:Zero
Dr Stone
Daemons of the Shadow Realm
Mao
The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King
The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage
Witch Hat Atelier
Wistoria
Scum of the Brave
Killed Again, Mr. Detective
One Piece
The Beginning After The End S2

Of the four that missed out Killed Again, Mr. Detective at this stage is probably the one I'll miss the most.

My biggest hope was for Digimon Beatbreak reviews to return but I guess not.
It's a pretty competitive season so I'm not that surprised unfortunately.

The other show that I voted for that didn't make it in is Kusunoki's Garden of Gods but I'm not too disappointed for that one since there's not that much to talk about.

Nor Reborn as a Vending Machine. Both previous seasons made it.

Man, a lot of shows didn't make it. RIP Classroom of the Elite, Kill Blue, Second Cutest Girl, and Liar Game.

Bummed Kirio Fan Club didn't make it (it's one of the series I'm most interested in this season), but otherwise we got a lot of titles I voted for! Glad to see a good amount of shoujosei made the cut.

I suppose it only makes sense that a lot does not make the list with how many shows there are each season.

Glad Dorohedoro made the cut. It's an exceptional series that more people should be aware of.

On the one hand no Pretty Cure. But on the other hand you won't have to suffer the New Fist of the North Star. But I'm pretty sure we'll hear about it in a episode of "This week in Anime".

I only voted for 15 and all but Kill Blue, Scum of the Brave and Slime made it through. I guess that means my tastes are pretty mainstream, huh. I only added Slime because I've lost track of all the machinations and factions, and reviews help me sort that. But this season looks like they've just swapped board meetings for dungeon crawls, so it probably doesn't need reviews.

I thought Blue might provide fodder for some fun reviews, so I'm not too disappointed over its exclusion. However, Brave has picked up a lot since its first half, so I'm kinda sad it's not on the list.

Looks like some good picks this season Smile
It feels like there are less titles overall this time though, but perhaps that's just because of the large number of titles that came out this season...

I'm happy to see Awajima and Four Seasons make it since I haven't had a chance to try them, but I'm interested in seeing how they turn out.

Nice to see Always a Catch and Snowball earth too.

I would have liked to have seen Yozakura, Observation Log, Slime, Ghost Concert, Gals & Otaku, Black Cat, and Kill Blue (among others) to see the reviews and discussions.

Biggest disappointment is that Ribdiculous didn't make the cut, as the vastly-varying artistic styles it's used in the first two episodes alone is worthy of commentary. Can't say I'm surprised that it didn't make the cut, though. Also a little disappointed (but also not too surprised) that Observation Log and Ghost Concert didn't make it, and quite surprised that Slime didn't make the cut; I thought that one would be a shoo-in.

But all of the ones I considered highest-priority did did make it, so at least there's that. I will especially be looking forward to seeing Lucas try to cover everything that Needy Girl Overdose has going on.

Sad that Ghost Concert didn't make the cut, right now it has all the makings of a enjoyable trainwreck to cover weekly
