Dark Horse needs to commit to releasing the rest of the Eromanga Sensei manga volumes. Stopping at three is egregious.

I wish them all the best but I did get kind of a chuckle about them being committed to creator-owned comics when like all of their biggest sellers are licensed IPs. Still though, I'm glad to see the change. American comics (well, frankly, comics around the world) have a long dirty history of screwing over writers & artists and every little step further towards moving away from that history is a good one.

I certainly hope this reorganization works for DH to survive. DH, like Image has ALOT of history with small creators. Unfortunately, with the Diamond inferno and the lose of Saudi money it has put DH in a real pinch. The manga department seems to be doing well with the Deluxe editions and I am looking forward to picking up the new OLDBOY and LONE WOLF and CUB. The trick is can this plan work? They are closing 3 major comic book stores and have given pink slips to a big chunk of employees. Are the comics, manga and Deluxe manga making enough money monthly? We shall see if they pick to their calendar for the next six months. The original Star Wars manga is on the horizon this summer as is a new Deluxe Lovecraft manga collection and oh my goodness vol. 6 omnibus of Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service in OCT 2026.

Lol, eromanga is a terrible manga. Anyway, unions are super important. Hope the workers will be okay.
