I did not know this was even a concept, but I need it yesterday. FFIX is easily one of the all-time greats, and I once got all misty eyed alongside a couple of random ossans (complete strangers!) in an izakaya as we bonded over our mutual love for Vivi. Truly universal storytelling. I still think about that ending though...

I look forward to reading since all the shots passed around online looked delightful (like Vivi's name originating from the optimal height at which to eat him), but it's still funny to look at this media blitz for a remake that very transparently was meant to have been out by now
