The production value is.... okay, but those flying dragons look like they were just copied and pasted.

Saw someone say it's giving 7SEEDS and yeah...
Hana-Kimi, Red River, and now this. Why is it so hard for studios to give adaptations of classic shojo a budget? I get that replicating the original art style can be difficult, but I'd appreciate if these at least didn't move like slideshows.

A friend of mine picked up the term "light pollution aesthetic," I think from Red Note, and that was all I could think of watching this trailer.

because all that money went to Rayearth /jk
It does suck that we get these lavishly animated seinens and serviceable LN adaptations, and then shojo series with a proven fanbase get...this.
