I don't understand, is it a place to ask questions and do the questions have to be about a certain subject? I've asked a question here and it was locked so I'm sitting here wondering what exactly is "Encyclopedia" for?

The question you asked before had little to do with anime or this site at all. This forum is for exactly what it says, "Discuss the Encyclopedia, ask questions.". I don't know how it can be anymore simple than that. Just anything regarding the Encyclopedia. The Encyclopedia is here if you weren't aware of it:

Oh! I thought by "Encyclopedia" they meant the kind you find in a library. Sorry, you can lock this now, I think I'll check that encyclopedia of yours out. Thank you.
