what you think about this anime write your opinions and also if you like write your favorite episode. My opinion is that this is a good anime with very good plot just needs more action but I think it's fine. my favorite episode has to be episode 13 and 4

I got 3 bootleg DVD's before I knew they were bootlegs. From those, however, I think the series has a lot of potential (isn't it suppose to be 52 episodes total?). The engrish subtitles were hard to understand in many places, so I don't know if I can really judge it yet. Once it's been professionally translated, I think I'll like it more. Visually, it's one of the best I've seen. I like how they blend the CG and traditional art. The music is great too. |

I just finished watching ep 13. I loved the movie and I love the series. I absolutely love the blue spider like Tachikoma and their childlike AI's. I was laughing when Togusa said their just machines and they started getting all upset and protesting and accusing him of discrimination. |

LMAO that was hilarious, coudn't stop laughing for the rest of the episode. They're like heavily armed children that are sort of intelligent yet child like at the same time. Music is phenominal, Yoko Kanno does an amazing job once again, found myself humming the intro song more than once in the middle of class, or on the bus FIFTY-TWO EPISODES!?! holy crap! Why have the subbers stopped at 18? was it liscenced or something? |

Yep, it's been licensed and I believe Bandai Entertainment has already started with the translation and English dub. The first DVD is suppose to be out in 2004. http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,1068,sgszbd,ghost_in_the_sh.html |

More like 4-5 episodes per DVD. at, say, $26 per DVD if you're smart |

AnimeOne fansubbed up to episode 19 before Bandai layed the smackdown
The RAW episodes (un subbed) are available online (and kazaa) from episode 20+ I wouldn't say that the show is better than the movie, just different. Both are outstanding IMO. Edit: Looks like the RAWs aren't available anymore. (the BT links were closed) As far as I know the newer eps will still be available when they are aired, which I believe is every two weeks. |

I think it would be wiser for them to put 4 or more on one dvd. I think that companies are starting to get the hint that 3 eps for a series that long would really upset the fans. the only series lately i can think of with strictly 3 on the dvds is X tv.
Probably to make it a nice 8 volumes. But why? adv is release 4 eps on full metal panic and its 24 episodes isn't it? That would equate to 6 dvd's. Will we be seeing more series being trunkated into a lower amount of volumes? |
