What anime?

I was hoping that some of you could help me identify this anime. It's about this girl who moves to her aunts house, then she realizes that there are few boys also living. One of the guys practises kendo. They all go to the same school. In school they choose witch club they are going to join. Some went to tennis and the girl went to track and field and the kendo guy wanted to join this weard club with full of bullies. I hope someone recognizes this. I think it's made in the 80's.

do you know if it was a movie, tv series, or OVA series? Also if you got a screenshot, it would help immensely, as would more information about the plot developments. Cool

I don't know anything about the names, because I have seen some dubbed version of it, so the names weren't original. In the first episode the main guy is coming home from kendo practice and on It's way home he founds a little kitten and he takes it with him. And when he get's home, he goes straight to the shover, and surprise surprise, the main girl also happens to be in there. The guy is really calm. He doesn't panic or is embarrassed, he just politely says hello and sits next to the girl. The girl isn't as comfortable and leaves from the bathroom. And when she get's to hallway she starts screaming.
That's about everything that I can remember. But if this doesn't help you at all, I try to find some pictures or something from somewhere.
