Sounds very interesting even though I was never a fan of Hikaru no Go. Does anyone know what this "Death Note" is about? It says that it's based on a story. A story as in a novel series maybe?

I haven't read Hikaru no Go yet but since it's gonna start apearing in Shonen Jump starting next month I'm gonna check it out. Btw, Kyo it says that you're from Ohio. What town do you live in? I'm from Columbus.

I've read the DeathNote oneshot that Obata-sensei did earlier, and the concept it quite interesting. Basically, this 13 yr old boy Kagami Taro finds a DeathNote, not knowing that it's a shinigami's notebook used to record the names of and method by which people die. I don't want to give too much away if you haven't read it yet. But the oneshot ends w/ Taro 7 years later so maybe it picks up from there. Toriyama's World scanlated it if you want to get a hold of it. In any case, I'll be looking foreward to it.
