While reading through Volume 2 of Shonan Junai Gumi (GTO: The Eearly Year), I notice that one of the character in the story was rockin a towel with Ippo (from Hajime no Ippo manga) on it.



It's pretty cool to see small references like this. Do you know cross reference in manga?

Pretty funny, but it makes sense since they're both from Shonen Magazine. Jump manga reference each other all the time too.

Both GTO and Shonan Junai Gumi are swarming with small hidden references. Even one of Fujisawa's secrets is referenced... *cough*Tokyo Sexy Club*cough*...
