MomoCon 2008 is looking for a few good artists for our programming booklet, badges, and souvenir t-shirt. We may be accepting more than one piece for each item, so multiple submissions are more than welcome.

MomoCon will be filming a segment of its 2008 Opening Ceremonies short film, and needs YOU to be part of the largest Zombie Horde ever assembled.

* All zombies will be fully credited for their rolls.
* A select few may be chosen for close-ups and action sequences.
* All participants will be automatically entered into an on site raffle.
* Light refreshments will be available (as supplies last).
* Campus parking is free on weekends.

FYI shooting will go on rain or shine as most of the scenes are indoors. Though its not like a little rain would hurt the "undead".

Don't forget: Free food for all participants and entry into our raffle. We've got 10 prize packs lined up.

Got some news for all you heavy sleepers that are still interested in zombieing as part of the Horror Spoof filming Saturday (Oct 27th).

We'll be taking late-comers up until 11am. But to be fair to those showing up for the actual start of filming, the late-comers will be ineligible for the prize raffle, most likely not be chosen for the action sequences (i.e. grabbing / mauling other actors), and you'll probably miss most of the free food. And obviously you'll miss being in several scenes.

But its still a chance to be a part of the film.

If mixing and mingling and ice-skating isn't enough to entice you to come. I just went through MomoCon's prize inventory and we'll be having an onsite raffle for a few items. Additionally we'll have gifts onhand for donations to con's general operating fund.

Hope to see you there.

Check out MomoCon.com, the 1st phase of 2008 updates have begun! Sorry for the delays; we've had a lot of web related issues...thank you for your patience.

Also a sneakpeak at a few of our returning guests that are confirmed but haven't hit the site at this time:

We would like to welcome SithVixen and VaderPainter back to share their amazing costuming knowledge and skill.
www.vaderpainter.com
www.sithvixen.com

Daniel Brown returns for an encore performance of Final Phantom
http://danielbrown.vgpiano.com/

and John Pardus comes back to host our J-Rock/J-Pop panel.

Hitting Anime South? Well MomoCon's resident Guest Liaison will be there as well. Look for the badge TechieCL, he's also bound to be in cosplay as Roger Smith (Big O) or as a Wild Geese Mercenary (Hellsing). Go ahead chat him up about Momo.

And we're bringing a crew to the second year of Atlanta's newest convention: Atlanta Comic Expo ( http://www.atlantacomicsexpo.org/) . Not only will be manning a table and bringing you the latest inside scoop on the workings of our humble little convention, we're hosting several panels, and hoping to hold a few raffles and sell some merch! More details as they are confirmed.
