Hey people, I'm of course a "newbie," and I was wondering if your high school/middle school have a anime club? If this question has already been asked...please delete this topic...and it would be nice to name your school as well, thanks!

ANN may have a big batch of younger folks, but a considerable number of people here are in college and those older than that. That said, I run the Animatrix, the Oregon State University Anime club (we need a new name, it was original 5 years ago, not so much now)

I didn't really know that since I'm a "newbie," oh well, here is the club I go to at my high school in San Mateo, CA, its called the Animanga Club, the reason why its called that is pretty obvious, we read mangas, and watch animes. Right now we are thinking about having a fundraiser, we may sell Yans Yans, and Pocky...so yeah...thats our club here where I live.

We have a pretty active anime club here at good old Georgia Tech.

And we have a cool name to boot: Anime O-Tekku

We meet in the Student Center the last Saturday of every month for a solid 6 hrs. of programming.

If your in the Atlanta area, come check us out. Our website (soon to be upgraded) is http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/anime

Anime O-Tekku: "Because there's always time to study later..."

How did I just KNOW you went to Georgia Tech? Very Happy That is a cool (imaginative) name for your anime club.

The University of Colorado has an anime club called Anime Anonymous that meets (for the most part) every Friday. Since I am done with school and have moved from Boulder, I don't make their meetings anymore. Now I get my anime club fix in Denver at a club called Denver Anime International. Long title. Definately not as cool as yours Ramblin' Wreck.

Here in Omaha we have a club unaffiliated with any school called Anime Sunday (http://www.animesunday.org). The title is in reference to our monthly showings on the third Sunday of every month.

Um, I know you don't like the guy, but posting someone's full name to a public message board without his permission probably isn't the smartest thing to do...

Especially a public message board with posts that show up in Google searches...

Usually, if I feel like mentioning someone I know, I use initials.

I'm not in any anime clubs (that's the price you pay when you work 3rd shift) but I know MIT has one. I believe Harvard still has one as well. Anyone know if BU or UMass has one?

i would think so... Northeastern has one as well...

I go to Saint Anslem College...which doesn't strictly have an anime club...we have a gaming club which shows anime sometimes, and I am in the Classics Society which runs classically themed movies so we will be showing alot of Reign....
