Gotta tell anyone planning to see it this weekend that even though it's subbed, it's been edited down from 2 hours to 30 minutes, with no guarantees of accurate subs either. And now I blink and wonder why this was posted in the manga forums?

In any case, the fact that there is a subbed release at least gives me a tiny shred of hope that they will release an uncut version (maybe, then again, I suppose it could very well be the edited down version)

Ah well...

Isn't gonna happen. It didn't with Iron Monkey, and it won't with Shaolin Soccer. Oh, and if you don't like seeing Quentin Tarantino's name on the marquee for "Jet Li's Hero" (re-titled from "Hero"), then don't see the Miramaxe version of that film either.

But we can see that your post has nothing to do with the comic adaptation, so maybe it's just me, but it just doesn't seem appropriate in this particular forum.

Ah, now I get it... there was no other appropriate forum to go into and create a thread so you can bash on Miramax some more. So, instead you grasped for straws and found a link that doesn't mean anything and created one for your own self-serving purposes. While I agree that I dislike that they edit down movies and don't give us the complete movie (I love Shall We Dance? and recently attained a raw of the whole thing) it's a dead horse and was beaten to death months ago. It was buried already. Let it rest.

Nope. I'm just telling the truth, which is tough for some people to accept. Anyway, what you do with that knowledge is your choice. You feel like getting ripped off, then go ahead.
