I understand that manga and anime character designs often differ on the account of being able to get all the animators to draw on the same level and colors are easy to forgive.
Still, I feel like I'm looking at different series...

i read the manga for a few chapters and basicly it reminds me of a zero luise meets todays high school.. i doubt any real conclusion will arise on this one. but I've been suprised before.

I read the manga and...
Frankly, it's just too meh. I'm not saying it's bad but...
Did anyone else... Read School Rumble and thought, "Why are they trying so hard?"
It's like that. I really feel Tora Dora is trying a bit too hard with its humor. It's different to some degree, but eh, I just can't get into it. Maybe I'll find the anime more appealing.
In fact I think I might, sometimes I'll just watch it for the eye candy and suffice to say, the animation for this looks particularly good.
