As far as the encyclopedia shows, Kousuke Yamashita is a new composer for anime. He just did Xenosaga: The Animation. From a little bit of research he helped Yoko Kanno with the soundtrack to the game Nobunaga's Ambition. That was also an excellent soundtrack. I say look out for this guy, he wreaks of potential :D
