This is great. I've always wanted to read the manga, and now that they're publishing faster, I can eventually read Jinchuu legally! Surprised (I have some scanlations on my computer, but haven't read them yet Razz)

What volume does it start on again? Around 18 or something, right? Smile

It says from the eighth volume.

By the way, does this mean that the whole manga wasn't still released by Viz at the States??

Volume 8? Are you sure? The Encylopedia has it titled as "Along the Meiji Toukaidou," which is right before Volume 9, "Arrival in Kyoto."

I got the scanlations from a friend of mine, and he had volumes 16 through the end. I think V.16 had the fight with Soujiro in it and then the flashback (Tsuioku-hen) was around V.18.

In any case, I think Viz only has up to Volume 5 or 6 released right now here in U.S. So yeah Sarki-Kun, they're not even halfway out yet. Wink

Oh forgive me. Seventh volume.

That's what makes me think of it. And, as you said, if the latest one was the sixth, it doesn't make sense to start it from the 18th...Unless I misunderstood you... Embarassed .

Well, americans, you're really a box of surprises. For good and for bad surprises, xD.

Oh, heh, heh. Sorry about that Anime catgrin.

I was wondering if the Jinchuu arc started on Volume 18. I apologize for confusing you. Wink

But thanks for the info that Viz will start on Volume 7. Smile

Now, if only they'd do this with Naruto, or make Shonen Jump at least bi-weekly . . .

Why? Most Naruto fans are well aware of what's the latest volume in Japan. The pace Naruto and other Viz titles are being released at is annoying, but fans are greatful they're made it to the states AT ALL.

Hum...Yes, but here is not Japan. I was thinking about, how a poorer, less experimented country in what anime/manga companies refers, can have so much released of Naruto. As if it wasn't enough, Naruto is really popular at the States.

I'll never compare the States with Japan. I'll compare them with other non-eastern asian countries.

I know I'm not good at all at english, but I'm trying to do my best. Please, if there's something which it's impossible to understand, say it so. I'll try to say it using other words.

However, I've seen some other english speaking users an' u know, Im not writin' as this, makin' it even harder to read. And I know that what I say...It might not be really well explained. But I believe it's able to understand, to, at least, get the idea.

Sarki-Kun. I have no problems understanding you and think your English is actually very decent compared to some of the other users that like to abbreviate and shorten a lot of their words to "barely comprehensible" sentences. Don't worry about it and just make every post of yours a sort of "learning experience," so to speak. Smile

Damn that means 10 dollar every month. Add that to a 60 dollar cell phone bill and 30 dollar DSL bill. I'm out 100 every month. Crap.

Viz is gonna bank a lot of money on this. Too bad One Piece isn't gonna be monthly.
