Crunchyroll has a news page for it, so maybe they'll have it later today or tomorrow.

The Sirius the Jaeger Twitter account mentioned Netflix this morning, but nothing's been officially announced or confirmed yet. I expect it'll be on Netflix either this fall or in 2019. Once we get some firmer information I'll add it to this piece.

This looks like it has a lot of potential. I think Masahiro Ando's most notable credit has to be the action masterpiece that was Sword of the Stranger, so if he brings that same visual flair here, it'll definitely be worth watching.

The official StJ Twitter lists Netflix. However, there is something peculiar. In the link that Giant_Robo_28, take a look at the "sirius the jaeger" tag. It links to the article "Crunchyroll's Summer 2018 Anime Simulcast Lineup!" Other than users commenting on that show, I don't think it would make sense to list that tag unless it hinted CR will be also streaming it.

While Netflix has "Sirius the Jaeger", with enough tweets to WB Japan and P.A. Works, there is the unlikely chance they could decide to yank Netflix's streaming of StJ and transfer to Crunchyroll.

Here's hoping that it will do something significant that will set apart from Vampire Hunter D,
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Parts 1 and 2, Hellsing, Trinity Blood, Shiki, Seraph of the End and any other Vampire anime/manga that came before. I suppose being a period piece and having the hunters be possibly werewolves is novel enough for now.

Do you have a final message to fans?

Horikawa:Please stick with it, because all of the staff really respect Ando and are doing their best to meet his expectations in creating this show.

Stick with what? Not watching fansubs and waiting for Netflix to release it whenever they feel convenient? I always feel betrayed when an episode of an anime is premiered at an American convention, and the staff tells the audience to “Please support us!” But then a couple weeks or even days later it turns out they were in collaboration with Netflix the whole time, and fans worldwide outside Japan have no way of watching their show until months after it completes. I’ll probably wait for Netflix like a good anime fan, but I can’t say that I represent the norm.

What also doesn't help is that the day that it could have premiered as a Crunchyroll title (7/12), we find out it is part of the Netflix catalog. The StJ website should have given this info on 7/9 or 7/10.

P.A. Works was likely aware of how highly-anticipated such a horror anime would be. It would have made sense to stream it on Crunchyroll, which is famous for having a strong rapport with anime fans, vs. Netflix, which is infamous for not having such a strong rapport with anime fans. I think all the backlash should be an incentive to make a sub-license for a weekly stream for YT and/or Crunchyroll.
