I'm still amazed that, despite how badly the Tiger Game.Com did back in the 90s, it apparently didn't poison that name enough to prevent the simultaneous existence of a brand called "Gamescom", one called "Gamecom", and one called "Gamercom". Laughing

Aside from not only rivaling Skyrim in terms of being ported to every system known to man and thereby making it easily accessible, Resident Evil 4 has aged quite well and still plays fantastically. The only reason 2 and 3 got remakes is because of the old graphics and tank controls (which I like, but understand why they'd want to change) Resident Evil 4 is what the later games started emulating, including the remakes of 2 and 3. And after 3 being an obviously rushed and overall lackluster final product, I don't trust Capcom to do 4 justice at all. They couldn't even be bothered to program spiders and crows in 2's and 3's remakes, two of the more iconic enemies in the franchise. I shudder to think the amount of shortcuts they'll do with 4's diverse enemy list.

- RE4 remake: I don't know if I trust this rumor, there have been many fake rumors about remasters, ports and new games and few of them turn out to be true, I think people are overreacting about this. But if it's true, I don't know what can they do with RE4, the game is already great as it is, just improve the visuals, tweak some of the gameplay, and I guess Capcom will redub the game with a new cast (and probably into other languages since the original was only in English, even in Japanese) and that's a shame since I really like the original voices.
- Jump Force Deluxe: I know the original release was a success despite the mixed to negative reviews, but I don't know if the Switch audience will respond positive to this port after hearing the reactions from players from other consoles, maybe Bandai-Namco just doesn't want to take the effort to port better games like Soul Calibur 6 and Tekken 7 (if MK11 manages to run on the Switch maybe those two can), which I think would be better received by Nintendo players than Jump Force.

I forgot all about Jump Force Laughing That game felt like a very MCU-ish version of Jump: really sterile and lacking a lot of significant key characters and franchises and instead focusing on only a few franchises that are known in the west. I prefer the older J-Stars Victory VS+ from 2015 which limited the roster to 3 fighters per franchise and had a lot more titles being pulled from rather than just the Dragonball/One Piece/Naruto franchises being so over represented.

I love Jump Force!

I recently discovered J Stars Victory. Beat the hell out of it in a week and when to buy Jump Force. The diorama the collector edition came with is fantastic! I’ve got it set up in my room right now. Possibly the best item I’ve ever had that was included with a game.

Looking forward to new content!

J-Stars Victory VS+ is the worst birthday present I ever received. It literally triggered a dissociative episode in a friend after half an hour of play (we speculate due to its awful FOV, frame rate and camera coupled with the poor way it handles split-screen). No other game has ever done this to the friend in question, by the way.
Apart from that, it's convoluted and time-consuming unlock system is just about the worst thing possible for a big crossover party game.
I believe you that Jump Force is worse, but I can't even imagine what worse would be like to play.
