I wouldn't be opposed to purchasing the cookbook, personally. Just hope that the directions are clear enough (and the food yummy!).

this sounds like these new books could be very informative, entertaining, AND fun all at the same time! i'm especially looking forward to the cookingbook and the educational guides.
 and learning more about Japan's culture and seeing a new manga are always welcomed aspects to me!
